Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and a writer. She is most well recognized for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in for her first stage appearance. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming famous in the national stage space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. That same year, she made her debut album of music It's time for Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This film became an enormous success and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. While in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationships with Lee Strasberg. The next notable role she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on for in 1964. Louise was able to balance her work across Broadway as well as Hollywood, portraying more somber roles as opposed to her perception of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she also became a well-known director on popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Her family moved out of Essex to Toronto, where she spent her childhood and teenage years. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and was there ever from then on.
