David Muir is a journalist and anchor in the US. The most well-known of his shows is World News Tonight. Through its animated movements and dramatic videos of celebrity chatter, his program has grown to become the most watched newscast in America. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning show. Before taking on ABC World News Tonight, He was the main replacement for the show's founder Diane Sawyer. He has reported numerous shows during primetime for ABC News some recent ones being Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He has covered news around the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He's received several Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards along with honours and prizes from the Associated Press.
