David Muir is an American journalist and anchor best known for his ABC newscast World News Tonight with David Muir and for the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he is an anchor co-anchor. He was the principal anchor for the show under His predecessor Diane Sawyer before taking over ABC World News Tonight.
