Zoe-perry
Perry is born the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first television roles were two appearances as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) in the ABC sitcom Roseanne which was played by her mother. She was not allowed to begin acting in front of her family until she reached adulthood, as they feared the anxiety it could cause. Perry acknowledged that she was not comfortable acting in high school. She began acting to meet new people at Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. Perry managed to get tiny TV roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent after she graduated. Homesickness, however, brought her to California to return, where she started performing in the stage. The Other Place was performed by her and her mother on Broadway in 2013 In 2015, she performed with her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna Christie in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry played a lead role in the drama's nine episodes from 2016 on ABC's drama The Family. In 2017, she had a minor role on the ABC political drama Scandal which starred her father. The character she played was a younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off series from CBS's The Big Bang Theory was another portrayal by her younger mother. The role was given an audition to the actress, regardless of the fact that she was a cousin to the character.
